As part of our commitment to respond to the educational and training needs of the business community - and to contribute to the development of business standards – we offer Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) courses.
These have been designed to meet the industry’s requirement for better qualified and more competent sales and marketing professionals, and to equip both established and aspiring professionals with the skills, knowledge and credibility to succeed in their careers.
Founded in 1966, the ISMM is the UK’s professional membership body for sales and marketing personnel. It is the only organisation of its kind to be accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) to award nationally-recognised qualifications in selling and sales management. It is also the leading international body for sales and marketing training.
The ISMM has designed a range of Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) from Level 1 to Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework.

Here at Bloomsbury Business School, we offer the following ISMM courses, leading to the higher-level qualifications shown:
Level 5
- Diploma in Account Management (£3075*)
- Diploma in Sales Management (£3075*)
- Diploma in Sales and Account Management (£3975*)
Typically, these would suit established or aspiring sales managers, account managers, regional sales managers or regional/key account managers.
Level 6
- Executive Award in Strategic Sales and Account Management (£1575*)
- Executive Certificate in Strategic Sales and Account Management (£3150*)
- Executive Diploma in Strategic Sales and Account Management (£4800*)
*Includes VAT
The Level 6 courses are designed for established or aspiring senior sales managers, senior account managers, sales directors and leaders: individuals who deliver, or aspire to deliver, strategic sales solutions at a national and international level.
These qualifications are of first degree standard. You may progress directly from these to an MA or MSc in Sales and/or Marketing or to an MBA course.
